Electrocautery is a common treatment for benign skin outgrowths. Carried out with the use of topical anesthesia, Electrocautery carefully zaps each wart or benign skin outgrowth with a small burst of electrical energy. Technically, skin lesions are burned and the charred tissue are left to fall off naturally within a week or so. It doesn’t leave marks because most of the skin lesions are only superficial. |
