When you say Lovely Rivero it simply means one of the prettiest faces in the Philippine showbiz. A child of the 80's, Lovely made her mark in tineltown via "That's Entertainment."
Now lovely is the featured client of Dra. Claudine Roura's clinic Contours located at 2nd floor Southpark Plaza, Paseo de Maggallanes, Makati City, which offers the VASER High Definition Liposclture.
Lovely virtually turned back time when she appeared young and sexy during an interview after undergoing the whole-body VASER procedure.
"With Dra. Claudine Roura I did a whole body lipo using VASER technology and I'm very happy with the result. A long time ago prior to this, I actually undergone spot lipo with the other clinic dahil wala pang VASER noon dito sa Pilipinas unfortunately it didn't turn out well," Lovely said.
The Beautiful actress said she had spot lipo a long time ago in the arms and hips but admitted that the result was not that pleasing.
"Yung mga na-lipo lumiit siya pero wala siyang sculpting unlike sa VASER mas bumalik yung young figure ko. Totoo yung claim ni doktora na sa VASER it is less invasive unlike the ordinary lipo. Sa VASER kasi malinis ang procedure unlike sa ordinary lipo na sa simula parang may mga lumps and you need to massage them most of the time," Lovely pointed out.
With VASER procedure, the result is smoother and the healing time is shorter." After more than two months lang I'm totally healed na and I dont need to take many medications."
Lovely is inching her way back to stardom with a series of showbiz projects coming her way.
Lovely is one of the talents in the teleserye "Kung Aagawin mo ang Lahat sa Akin," and also shooting for the upcoming teleserye by known director-writer-producer Carlo J. Caparas entitled "Kroko".
"Kroko" is a suspense drama written and directed by Carlo J. Caparas.
Lovely remains beautiful today even she's in mid-life.
Lovely admits that she undergone the VASER procedure beacuse there were times she looked in the mirror and saw a different Lovely Rivero that fans would surely not want to see.
Dra. Roura was her childhood classmate and when they met during their professional years, Lovely did not hesitate to avail of the services offered by the Roura Derm Surgery.
Subborn fat appeared in unflattering places. Her clothes didn't fit anymore. She felt depressed and lost interest in making herself beautiful.
With the new year coming in, Lovely decided to do something new.
And so, at the start of 2010, Lovely underwent a total body liposculptured procedure.
"I wanted to feel good about my body and myself again. In show business, you have to look good and younger than your age, because that is part of the package. Looking good is an obligation and a responsibility. But, even as a regular person, I believe that when you look good, you feel good and become more productive beacuse you are confident, energetic and full of life," Lovely added.
"I'm happy beyond words," said Lovely. "The little pain and discomfort brought about by the procedure was well worth it."
Lovely underwent the procedure at Contours Advanced Face and Body Sculpting Institute, the first and only cosmetic surgery center in the Philippines certified to do VASER High Definition Liposculture.
The owner, Dr. Roura, did the procedure herself removing fat and sculpting Lovely's arms, back, abdomen, hips, inner and outer thight, legs and butt.
"People now notice my shoulders are in better shape. I never had the guts to wear sleeveless clothes because I have always been conscious of my arms but now, I'm totally into tube and halter tops,"Lovely beams,
The star of numerous films said she is thankful for the body God has given her and believes enhancements and improvements are part of taking care of that body. For Lovely though, cosmetic procedures are never a remedy for deep-seated insecurities or emotional or mental imbalance. "You must first be a "whole" person inside so that whatever you do to improve your outside appearnce can complement what or who you are inside," Lovely shares.
The actress reveals that she is a simple, low maintenace person. Her beauty regimen is simple as well. She goes for regular facials, wears make-up only when necessary, and never forgets to clean her face everyday. She also uses a moisturizer and sunblock.
Lovely promises to maintain her new figure through yoga and badminton. She is also trying to live a healthy lifestyle. She does not smoke and only drinks during social occasions.
The lovelier Lovely wants other women to feel good about themselves, too.
