• Upper Eyelid Surgery (Eyelid Deep Setting / Double Eyelid Creation)
This procedure entails removal of excess skin on the upper eyelids due to aging, or basically due to genetics, giving the patients the aged, or sad and tired look.
Upper Blepharoplasty also addresses the creation of double eyelid in cases of oriental eyes with no upper lid crease. In doing so, patients acquire a fresh, younger look with bright sparkling eyes.
Done under local anesthesia, the surgery takes out excess skin and sutures it back in place with a special technique that creates a new fold. Swelling and bruising are maximal during the first 2-3 days and eventually subside. Sutures are taken out after 1 week. |
